Terms of Use

In short: MoyoHealth is a free directory that helps you find healthcare providers in Zimbabwe and send them a booking request. We don't provide medical care ourselves, and a booking request isn't a confirmed appointment until the provider accepts it. If you're facing a medical emergency, contact emergency services or go to the nearest hospital directly — don't wait on a booking request. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MoyoHealth — the website, and any related mobile experience (together, the "Service") — operated for MoyoHealth ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, browsing provider listings, submitting a booking request, or using any other part of the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

If you're using the Service on behalf of a clinic, hospital, laboratory, or other organisation, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and that organisation.

2. What MoyoHealth is — and isn't

MoyoHealth is a discovery and booking-request platform. We help patients find doctors, clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and other healthcare providers, and we let patients send booking requests to those providers.

MoyoHealth is not a healthcare provider. We don't practise medicine, don't employ the clinicians listed on the platform, and don't provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind. Nothing on MoyoHealth should be treated as medical advice — always consult a qualified healthcare professional for anything related to your health.

A booking request is a request, not a confirmed appointment. When you submit one, it goes to the provider you selected; they may accept, decline, propose a different time, or not respond. MoyoHealth doesn't guarantee any provider will accept a request, respond within a particular time, or be available.

3. Provider listings

Provider profiles — including credentials, specialties, services, hours, and photos — are supplied by the providers themselves. We don't independently verify every claim on every listing. Where a listing shows a "Verified" badge, that reflects a review our team has done; its absence doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong with a listing, only that we haven't reviewed it yet.

You're responsible for exercising your own judgement — and doing your own checks, if a provider's qualifications matter to you — before booking or attending an appointment. We're not liable for the accuracy of provider-supplied information, or for the quality, safety, or outcome of any care you receive from a listed provider.

4. Accounts

You can browse listings and submit some booking requests as a guest, without an account. Creating an account (as a patient or as a provider) means you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information, and keep it up to date
  • Keep your login credentials confidential, and tell us if you think your account has been compromised
  • Be responsible for anything that happens under your account

We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, abusively, or in violation of these Terms.

5. Provider responsibilities

If you list a practice, clinic, or facility on MoyoHealth, you additionally agree that:

  • Everything on your listing is accurate and kept current — services, hours, contact details, and location in particular
  • You hold whatever licences, registrations, or qualifications are legally required to offer the services you list, in the jurisdiction you operate in
  • You'll respond to booking requests in good faith and in reasonable time
  • You're solely responsible for the care you provide, and for complying with all laws and professional standards that apply to your practice

We may unpublish or remove a listing at our discretion — for example, if we receive credible reports of harmful conduct, fraudulent claims, or a breach of these Terms.

6. Payments and donations

Listing a provider on MoyoHealth is free. From time to time, we may show an optional prompt to support MoyoHealth with a donation of an amount you choose. Donations are:

  • Entirely voluntary — nothing on the Service is gated behind paying
  • Processed by Paynow, a third-party payment provider — we don't store your card or mobile-money details
  • Generally non-refundable, except where required by law

7. Acceptable use

When using MoyoHealth, you agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information — including fake booking requests or fake reviews
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect data from the Service
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying systems
  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm another person
  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, or that infringes someone else's rights

8. Reviews and content you submit

If you leave a review or submit other content through the Service, you're confirming it's honest, based on a genuine experience, and doesn't contain anything defamatory, unlawful, or infringing. You grant us a licence to display that content on the Service. We may remove content that violates these Terms or that we're required to remove by law.

9. Intellectual property

The MoyoHealth name, logo, and the Service's design and code are owned by us or our licensors. Provider listings remain the property of the providers who submit them. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that ownership to you.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any provider listing is complete or accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoyoHealth won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or from any interaction, appointment, or treatment arising from a connection made through the Service. This doesn't limit any liability that can't lawfully be limited.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service, or close your account, at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, for you or generally, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, or for any other reason with reasonable notice where practical.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, as the Service changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
